A while back I got a few more rasps from the local farrier so decided I should make him something from one of them as a thank you and the larger knife seems to be the logical choice to get the most from the steel so I cut a coupe of different version of the same knife with one being my "standard" bowie with 7 1/4 inch blade and 12 3/4 overall and it has a brass boster with olivewood handle
