A friend of mine was told that the trigger for magnum calibers is a different size than for standard calibers. I’ve never heard this before, only that the magazine insert is different. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
I own both PH and regular Pro trigger groups. There is no difference in size, shape, etc. of trigger or in weight of the trigger pull. The one difference is that the trigger group for the PH rifle includes a metal trigger plate and bow, while the Pro trigger group includes a plastic trigger plate and bow.
As to "magnum", there is only one size Blaser action and trigger group; it accommodates anything from .223 to .375 H&H-length cartridges (e.g. .416 Rem, .458 Lott). The action is too short for what used to be the "magnum length" standard of the old days: .416 Rigby length.
