When we first saw this guy he was too far away to assess his trophy value, after a long walk to get the wind right we could only get to a small bush 250 meters from him, it was all open from then on so the small shooting sticks came out and an angling shot from the 30/06 passed cleaned through and after 50 meters he did a couple of circles and went down. There were only about 30 wildebeest on the 30,000 acre property so I was happy to get a good trophy.
