Anschutz 1418 Rifle

So, today I checked a new batch of .22 Thunderbolt, this time in my Anschutz 1418.

Same story as previous batches:
Anschutz 1418 with 20 rounds of Thunderbolt .22 lr at 100 yd. The ammo barely groups 4 MOA but this is enough to practice ringing a 6" steel plate off the sticks out to 150 yd
Nice rifle. Try some Eley or CCI Green

Oh yes, of course Hogpatrol, but that was not the purpose of the test. This rifle, as well as my Walther KKJ and Winchester 52 also illustrated somewhere in my photos routinely shoot sub MOA with Eley Club, CCI Standard, RWS, etc. The rifle is not in cause.
The purpose of these pics was to illustrate the potential at 100 yd of the Remington .22 LR Thunderbolt sold by the 500 rounds bulk box at Walmart for less than $25. Folks were asking for its accuracy. The three rifles show exactly the same pattern: the Thunderbolt is essentially a 4 MOA inexpensive plinking ammo at 100 yd, and works perfectly for virtually free practice ringing a 6" steel plate out to 150 yd, which is the purpose I have been using it for, by the tens of thousands over the years :)
