So, I was in the loading room today (and yesterday, and the day before that!)...yes, in the loading room, loading ammo...and not writing a hunt report!
I was loading 45-70 and 30-30 this week. When getting ready for last weekend's range trip, I noticed I was getting a little low on ammo and figured I best get busy.
Earlier this year I bought some 300gr Barnes TSX for the 45-70 and holy cow! I think I could use those suckers for shot glasses!
One of these babies at about 2,000 fps into the boiler room ought to up-end just about anything under 400 pounds. :)
