I know some people are not going to believe this story, but I promise it happened. I had been waiting for the perfect Duiker for a week. We ran across this one with a crooked horn on the last day, I knew I had found my trophy. I lined up for the shot on the stick at about 100 yards. The bullet it it's mark, but unfortunately he stepped right has I shot and I hit him too far back. We rushed up to get another shot just in top to see a steenbok we had not seen prior to the shot just 20 yards to our right. This Steenbok was so freaked out by the gun shot and hunters so close to him he literally freaked out, jumped in the air 2 times, landed on his head, broke his neck and died right there in front of us. True story!!
