I have been doing alot of searching on colored springbok. This is one of the slams I want my son to take. The one thing I am having a hard time finding is a place that has good quality on all 3 colors.I am looking for an area were he has a chance for 13" or better on the white, black, copper springbok. Can it be done or should I be looking at different place for each of them to get what I am looking for.I am looking at jules of karoo now as my best choice for what I have found. The white color springbok seems to be the one that I is the hardest to get the size I am looking for. Also not looking for place with small areas to hunt.Any info on places hunted that you may have seen what I am searching for would be great to know. Thanks Billc

I vote for Jules of Karoo, there are just monster springbok there! I would love to visit there, just to see the sheer volume!

Contact "Huntsolo101" from the forum here. He's been there. If you can't find him on here, I will forward his email address to you. Just let me know.

Marius your on my list also just did not see enough of pics on what you could offer on those springbuck. But you have me thinking hard on them bushpigs with you and the more I see of cape kudu I need one just because the color of ther capes.Just wanting the right area to get the right springbucks.Want the size but also that classic springbuck horn shape also.Dam I am getting picky now.lol If more then one area is needed then I will do that.seems like jules of karoo just has the numbers to look over and just lacking some on the white from the info I got from them but 13" still very doable there.

Bill,
My opinion is that if there is anyone who can do it on the Springbok, it will be at Jules of the Karoo's property. We can organize to hunt the Springbok there with him, and continue the rest of the hunt down in the Eastern Cape for the Kudu and Bushpig. They are not too far from Port Elizabeth. Around 5 hrs drive.
Huntsolo101 hunted with me last year, and he was also at Jules of the Karoo. Let me get in touch with him, and find out what he has to say.

I am actually doing this same hunt with our African Outfitter. It has always been on my list of things to hunt. I am going after the slam hopefully this year depending on how busy I get with my clients and where I will be traveling. If you want I can through you some information on where I will be doing this hunt and maybe we can get you in on it or at least give you another Outfitter option when it comes to pricing and booking dates. PM me if you are interested.

regards,

Cody

All are spot on - Jules of the Karoo is your best option.

My wife and I hunted with Jules of the Karoo in 2010. Awesome place, great accommodations, incredible people and wonderful food. Got to help with a White springbuck capture. My wife killed a really nice common, and I killed all four colors.

very nice that copper and black have the shape of horns I would like him to take in all ofthem.Going to be hard to find but will give it a shot. That is the kind of mount I want to do when he gets them.Did you get a chance to look over alot of all the colors there.

We looked over a bunch of each of the colors. Jules took my wife to kill hers, and they looked over at least 100 before he found the one he wanted her to take.

That's one of the prettiest mounts I've ever seen. Very nice.

Man those are some great trophies... and damn fine steaks too!

Thanks. I am really proud of it. Everyone who walks in the house comments on how cool it is.

How many days did you spend hunting the springbucks at jules and did you take all 4 on that trip.

We hunted for 4 days. All of the springbuck were taken on Jules farm. They are going to put you on good mature animals.

Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service. Ordered some 9.3x62 brass and the delivery was a little short. An email through your website Contact Us link was replied to the next day with the tracking info for the correction. Good pricing coupled with great customer service will see returning customers every time. Thanks again!

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA
