When is Winchester planning on doing another run of safari rifles?

I hope soon. I put in an order about a month ago. Someone posted a link a few days ago where Midway actually had the .375 in stock.

I have emailed Winchester in the past and they have told me approximate times they were making them. I was impressed; I was expecting either nothing or a generic reply, but got a very a detailed email back.

Midway has both the 375 and 458 in stock currently at the best price probably around but they won’t last long, better jump on them if you want them

They'll may pop up on gunbroker but probably at a premium.

Yeah, I keep checking other sources thinking they may have made a small run but so far only midway had some at a higher price.

If I understand the OP and the title, he is asking about rifles and not ammo (I think).

Winchester sort of exists in name only. The name is owned by Olin Corp and they make Winchester ammo.

FN Herstal (Browning, et al) has rights to make rifles under the Winchester name

Midway had them last week in .458 win and .375 H&h. I’m wanting on in .416 rem though which were still out of stock otherwise I would have bought one.

A few months ago, I saw two .416's from different sellers listed for $1,800 & $1,700. Both BNIB & BIN. Decent prices on GB for what they were. One went in about an hour, the other lasted a few hours.

Yep, that didn't last long...

Front swivel no longer a barrel band and the stock is now a Monte carlo.

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ
