That’s all well and good but those are exceptions to the rule. Also, you’ve got quite the vested financial interest in defending this stuff. I’m all not to keen on taking a lecture on conservation from someone who defends CBL…..You simply are blind to the conservation value of what we do. Did you know that Arabian Orxy were repatriated to the Arabian Peninsula and are now in hunt able numbers? Did you know that Scimitar Horned Orxy have been sent to Senegal and are now growing in number? I could go on but some of yall don't care.
I understand that it is stupid to hunt a Kudu in Texas for $20k. It's a free market and people pay dumb prices for things in our society all the time.
A Cape buffalo "hunt" in Texas that I saw was being done by an elderly gentleman whom I doubt could have done it in Africa. Probably would have had a challenge just making the flight. That was by no stretch of the imagination a hunt that most of us would want to do. However it was something that gentleman obviously wanted to do. It was his money, his experience, legal.
. Not all of it is bad but the good does not outweigh the bad IMO and therefore does not justify the whole..
