Wildcat is a small and fast animal so it is so difficult to catch them. The two aboriginal men used their experiences to make a smart trap to catch wildcat easily.

Catching wildcat easily with technology primitive

First of all, they used splitted coconut leaves to tie. They put the dried coconut leaves to the water to make it more supple.

Then, they cut a bamboo tree and splited it and knit into a 30x40cm regtangle. They knit 5 regtangles to make a box wilthout lid.

They put the box mouth to the ground and used a tree to hold the box up and covered the box by other tree branches so that the wild cat cannot regconize the difference.

The perfect trap cannot be lack of bait. The perfect bait for cat is fish. They could catch small fishes in the stream.

Finally, they used a long vine to tie the holder branch and pull the vine 20-30m far away from the trap. The men sat there and hiden untill the cat came into the trap, they pulled the vine to trap the cat.

Hi Joshlee0518 (please let me know if you are fine being addressed like that),

Thought I would drop you a PM. It is super exciting to plan a hunt and we are more than happy to assist you. Have you given any thought yet to which species you would like to take?

What do you hunt usually and which weapons/calibers are you using?

Look forward to swapping experiences and ideas.

Happy hunting - Daniel

Is this rifle sold? If not what is the weight of it and do you know if there is enough difference in diameter between the 35W and the 9.3 to allow for a rebore to a 9.3x62 which is what I am after?
Thanks,
Gary (Just down the road in Springfield)
