If you’re going to spend the money to hunt and kill a leopard then I would highly recommend spending the money to send it to Phil Soucy’s studio. He currently has the skin of the leopard I took last year and has done 3 cougars for me. I have a hard time trusting anyone else with cats.

Is that Wayne Bartlett that I spy? He has a great record on cats. We ran into him in Bulawayo after I finished up my leopard hunt with Sean Grant back in June. We’re you by chance hunting on the Shangani Ranch border. I know Wayne usually kills a cat or two near there each year.

I was unaware that anything taken in Zim has broken the 19” mark. Largest one I had known of prior was 18 & 8/16”. Zim has produced numerous 18” cats from the Mangwe area, Shangani, BVC. Mike Fell seems to have taken quite a few breaking the 18” mark over the past few seasons in Maswa, Tanz.
