I’ve been making bullets from spent 7.62X39 brass. Haven’t been to the range with them yet but I have no doubt they will perform as well as any other bullet made from spent cases. Likely just fine for any game animal in North America as well.

I’m sure you can find a very similar shotgun either here in the States or in England that is in fine condition. That option would come in way below the cost of a custom build.
