I saw a euro mounted cow cape buffalo mount in a lodge in South Africa that was enormous. If I shot a cow the size I saw in SA then I would do a euro mount. I will try and find the picture. I would love to hunt a cow like the one I saw!

I just replaced a synthetic stock with a M70 Super Grade stock. My gunsmith had a takeoff Super Grade stock laying around. Most of his customers will pull off wood to go synthetic. I was able to trade him even for my synthetic stock. Ask around at local shops and you may get lucky.

Mainly for use as quick change on multiple rifles. If you are doing direct thread only for 458 then probably not. I use the direct thread for both my large bores. Also, I use a shorter barrels on suppressed rifles especially big bores.

The 46M is modular with a different mounting system than the Hybrid 46. DT is Direct Threat and the M is modular.

I have the Hybrid 46M which is rated to 460 WBY. I use it on every caliber from 375 H&H to 458WM.

Need to know layovers to help. BA can be a pain. Check with all airlines you are flying. Some connections are more difficult than others. I only fly certain routes, countries, and carriers with rifles. Check with the airlines then make up your mind if it worth the trouble.

It was not factory ammo but fragile hollow points. The PH loaded but they still were too fragile for some of the smaller animals that we were hunting but just right for other more dense animals.

I used a 22 Hornet on my last trip for night creatures and tiny ten. It left a bigger hole than expected on multiple animals. Great choice for small creatures.

Never had a problem with mine. I have pushed on them, leaned against them, and abused them for several years without a problem. Wood can often have unseen flaws but Africa Sporting Creations are good to work with.

I did not purchase a thing. I planned on narrowing my search for a hunt in Spain 2024 or 2025 and Namibia 2025 or 2026. I left with more questions than I started with.

I want to do this hunt someday. Bongo and LDE are too of my favorites. Hard choice on location.
