Looking good I've got to try some of these in my 45-70 Siamese mauser when I can afford some lol, bet those cup point make a heck of a smack on a animal when it hits.
Should be a good shooter with that NM star gauge barrel on there, my dad about 30 years ago fit a star gauge 03 barrel on his 1943 dyf mauser and that thing will shoot 3/4 moa all day long and 1/2 moa pretty often. I would have jumped on this but I'm broke right now.
I picked up a 3.5-10x40 with the twilight hunter firedot this March for my birthday making use of the $100 off, put it on a pre-64 m70 3006 I put together in talley rings and I am very happy. I figured since we came shoot now 30 minutes before and after the sun and I always wanted to try the...
I've always treaded my glass with rain on all windows, it's really helps when you need it if put on properly. I also run rainx washer fluid, not as good as the buff on stuff but better then most other fluids I've used. Best I've used is the old Volvo stuff, they even had headlight fluid for the...
I do like ones over a gallon, think my Ford holds over a gallon and a half nice since when your low you can dump a whole gallon in.
The second worst ass chewing I ever got was over a empty fluid reservoir, I was working in a truck shop in charge of the pm's( preventive maintenance). One day one...
Anyone know of a good pepper jack from any of the common supermarkets, they hardly put any peppers in anymore and the last times I had any it had no spice at all.
I haven't used ppu brass in any American cartridges so I can't say for sure there quality, I've heard some reloaders complain like with 270 win or 7-08 brass. All the brass or ammo using ppu brass and others ppu makes and rebrands like belom has been great especially for the money.
Here's one I put together, was given a j.p.sauer 8x57 barrel that cut to fit small ring mauser. I had this sporter 1891 argentine, I did a little stock work and fit a few things, aged the wood to make it look old again.
Can't call this a Bubba rifle, well the pre64 collectors may especially since it's a supergrade 3006. Shot around moa today with some factory 180s and some 150 loads I made up. It will be a work rifle tho.
Steel case wolf or tula will put 5 under 3/4" at 100 yards, shoots so good I've barely reloaded for it and I've got a few hundred lapua cases to try out along with the nice ppu brass I've shot up.
