We took our a crossbow the first time we went because my wife was hunting as well and we did ok with it, but its a pain for a follow up shot. I have started practicing again with the old compound. That is an option as well.
A very real post. I have no problem buying different ammo. Was just asking about the bullets I had before I went and bought more. I have looked at all the feedback and accept the fact that I do need to go find an alternative and that's not a problem at all.

Planning phase for a venture to RSA for mostly plains game, however, I may throw in a Buffalo if the checkbook can process it.
Which bullet (if any of these) would be best for
1) All around plains
2) Buffalo
A)300 grain Silvertip
B)300 grain solids
C)300 grain Nosler Partition
I would have handed my rifle to Sam the tracker in a heartbeat. I guess it depends on the tracker, but if its a matter of life and death to any of the three of us, by all means, take the damn thing. I can replace a rifle. My/their family cannot replace their father/husband.
Worked well when we flew that route. Had movies, wifi and a woman behind us snored loudly for 4 hours because she lost her nerve at airport security and ate all her THC gummies afraid TSA would hem her up.
