One more thing, get some #5 lead or bismuth for that shotgun and you'll stone pheasant all day.

    Fausti shotgun

I have a Fausti Dea, without the side plates, that I bought about 4 years ago. They are nice shooters, especially in the 20 bore. If you paid $1400 for that shotgun, you got a great deal. I bought my Dea and paid $4000 new.

    .375 H&H copper ammo?

Personally, I'll most likely only ever shoot the Barnes 300gr TSX flat base ammo as long as I own this rife. Reason being is that they just work for my needs. Elk, Moose, Deer, Cape Buffalo, and Gray Squirrels in my wife's garden.

    .375 H&H copper ammo?

Barnes TSX 300GR hit hard. I shot two Cape Buffalo cows both thit a single shot through the heart. One bullet was a complete pass through. The other was lodged in the far side shoulder. I was able to find the Barns ammo at $68.00 a box on AmmoSeek.com. I do realize that you live in Alaska, ang...

IMPORTANT: Firearms Export Alert – Use of Form 4457 for Temporary Firearms Export

I too had a lot a questions about the CBP 4457. I hired the good people at riflepermits.com. They made the process really simple. Keep in mind. Emirates airline will also require a copy of your CBP 4457 to fly with them along with a letter of invitation from your PH, 30 days out, no less than...

Companies that are Non-Supportive of Hunting

This thread is an ever growing place of misinformation and/or a rumor mill at its finest. Yes, some of these companies may be anti hunting, or at least was last week. Or they may be anti hunting next month, but only on Tuesday ending odd numbers. They point is, is that you will never really...

    Which 375 to take?

I'm a big fan of the Model 70 CFR rifles for sure. Just finished up a double cow cull hunt with my Model 70 in 375h&h. I also like the performance of the Barnes Vor-TX 300gn.

Any info about a Win 70 in 375H&H

    Win M70 ejector adjustment (CRF-models)

CBeck is spot on, don't mess with it. I have the same Winchester CRF model 70 as you. My rifle ejects to same way. Cycle it fast and hard, the brass gets deformed. If you cycle it all limp wristed and soft, your cases won't deform. You'll be just fine reloading that brass.

    Ticks

My wife is convinced, that I'm going to basically die in South Africa in April. If not by a Cape Buffalo stomping, but by being eaten alive but something. And now she stumbled upon this thread. She freaks out about tics.

    Cartridges you just hate

It's not that I hate the 6.5 Creedmoor or the 338 Lapua. It's just the snipers wana be,that claim to be able to shoot deer at 800 yards. None of the have done it, they just claim to be able to do it. What I do hate are all of the goofy target turrets on scopes these days.

Rizzini Rhino Express 470NE Cracked Wood

https://www.rizzini.it/ The phone number is at the bottom of the page. Let them know that you are not pleased with the service you are getting from Razzini USA. FYI, most Italians in the north speak English. Good luck

Rizzini Rhino Express 470NE Cracked Wood

Get a hold of Razzini directly in Italy, don't screw around with Razzini USA. Express your concerns directly to the manufacturer, let them figure out the next step. They should direct you to the proper channels.

What’s the thoughts on the .223 on all plains game with a match bullet trend?

What’s the thoughts on the .223 on all plains game with a match bullet trend?

I live in Washington state, our state requires 6mm or larger for medium game such as Black tail deer. 5.56/.223 isn't even a legal option, and it shouldn't be. So no, it's not even worth looking at. It's just dumb.

Namibia revokes visa free entry to 31 countries

Lol $85! I took my wife out for her birthday and spent twice that much. Like someone else said, if a Namibian gets charged for a visa to travel to another country, The Namibia government can charge too. Spend a week in Hawaii and see what your daily resort fees add up to.

Picatinny scope base on a Win model 70

I ordered up a set of Leupold 2 piece cross slot steel bases, and their Delta Point Pro cross slot red dot mount. I'll be ordering up their rings later. I'm still not sure if I'm going to mount my Vx-3 1.75-6 yet.

Picatinny scope base on a Win model 70

450 Dakota. I think your're spot on with Talley 2 piece bases. The forward mount should give me enough slots to fit my Leupold Delta Point pro reflex sight if I want to. That would give me all 3 sight options that I want

Picatinny scope base on a Win model 70

I can get quick detachable rings all day long that will fit Picatinny scope base. I just want to be able to see my iron sights if I take off my scope. Or I can use a red dot.

Picatinny scope base on a Win model 70

I'll just have to order one and see what happens. I have an older but new Leupold VX-3 1.75-6 that I want to use on this rifle. I just want to be able to use the factory iron if something goes wrong. Or ever switch it up and put on a red dot.

Picatinny scope base on a Win model 70

If I mount a Tally one piece Picatinny scope base, on a Winchester Model 70 Safari Express. Will I be able to still use the iron sights? I want options of being able to switch out my optics, or shoot iron sights.

You can't beat the Blaser when it comes to versatility. It's just to bad it looks like the south end of a north bound warthog. It's German vs English, flip a coin. If it was me, i'd add a Heym into the mix. If you have the flexibility to travel to Germany and England. Contact the...

    Black owned hunting safari businesses?

Ahhh no. We are not seeing applicants from African Americans as a whole. It has nothing to do with Hr. Our managers do the hiring, you can not hire someone that doesn't apply in the first place. Why is the question.

    Black owned hunting safari businesses?

I don't know what the answer is. I work for a large aerospace manufacturer, you known, the one with door issues. Anyway, we just hired on 35 new employees into entry level manufacturing positions. In that group, Hispanic and Asian make up about 15% the rest is Caucasian. Not I single African...

Well put Sgt Zim, I'm not afraid to say that really screwed up. Aside from a few good butt chewings, which I fully deserve, most of the comments have been positive. But mostly educational. Now this is from personal experience and observation, yet I'm hesitant to say it. Skin color appears to be...
