I cut the foam to fir in my Pelican. Not terribly happy with it. IMHO, you need a more dense foam. I looked on case builder but did not see anything that they already had a drawing of. As far as carrying stuff through security, a few years ago I was headed to a National Championship...

Thank you but I would also need a bolt as my current set up is for 300WM and 375. I had thought about piecing on together but frankly, with the pricing from some of the major sellers, it seems to make more sense to go the complete gun route

Thank you for the videos guys! I was trying to be gentle with the plastic (?) magazine and insert the rounds initially from the front of the magazine and slide them back instead of snapping them over the magazine lips. Tried several last night (375) and it worked great. Thanks again!

The only issue I have found with the R8, and perhaps someone has found a technique for improved performance, is the reloading issue. If you are shooting , say a 375, fire a couple of shots then want to top off before moving forward, it is pretty much impossible (at least to my fat fingers) to...

I second Eastern. The peace of mind is well worth it. The coverage is not expensive (IMHO) and not having to list any particular item unless it is over 10K is the easy button.

Thank you for all of the replies! I picked up a VX6HD 1-6 to give it a try. I am a huge fan of NF scopes when it comes to long range stuff, including on my hunting rifles for elk, etc. There does not seem to be much love for their low power offerings.
