Go to DSC and meet everyone in person since it is your first safari. It’s only 3 weeks away. You will be spending a lot of time with your PH so make sure they are someone that you like.
DSC is the only one I have attended because I live in Dallas. With that said, I think Nashville would definitely be a more fun atmosphere. Dallas is very laid back.

I sent Trophy Shippers an email 7 days ago without a response. That’s good enough for me to realize they won’t be getting my business. That is terrible for someone in the service industry that is trying to make the process easy for clients or potential clients.
It’s a minimal expense in comparison to everything else associated with a hunt. Plus a tip of any amount helps any PH, owner or not tremendously. Remember these guys have several months of downtime each year where they aren’t generating revenue.
