Exactly Yes I had Charles Lancaster build me a 375 and it’s an absolutely stunning rifle. In my opinion well surpasses the quality of the Rigbys of modern times.

How about Keith D Thomas or Lancaster both would do it. Lancaster just did a great job on a take down 375 for me..

Managed to pick up 1500 for my 470 nitro project… Very keen to get a lot of 300gn hd 375 in but they don’t seem to be selling those just yet

With the volume, they have allegedly taken, orders for I’d be surprised if there was enough talent in the uk gun trade to be able to produce them in the quoted timescales…

Tough question. I’ve hunted a lot of them on that list - I’ll be missing three or four of them by the end of this year. I lived for foot hunting of tahr and I’d place that as the most iconic - but of course you can hunt them elsewhere in the world. Most enjoyable was probably last years water...

At least Woodleigh have started turning out projectiles for the 425 again..

I’ve got the same thoughts. Even harder to get stuff in NZ. Do I go an easier route and get a 404j or do I go for the 425…

Would you recommend one over a 404j ? Thinking about another buff rifle when my 470 has been completed and I can’t choose between a 404j and a 425. Thank you

Just had similar excellent service with them. Their courier company managed to not believe my address was real and sat on a parcel for quite some time. WR were excellent at following up and getting it delivered.

Grant is great. Just got 1000 woodleighs for a 470 from him via a friend. Just wish he’d have some 375 300gn hd in soon

Not for Australia but Keith Thomas can build them. UK based but I know he just exported a 577 Rewa and a 600 nitro to Darwin.

I just bought 950 of the .474 500gn RNSN. Which apparently were new production. There are a few showing up in some of the Australian shops now… Hanging out for the 300gn .375 in HD to be produced again

Have you specified ejectors? Non ejector? Double trigger or single trigger?

Thanks At 42 years old I’m likely to migrate onto doing the odd animal larger then a buff so thought the 470 would mean that I’d effectively have one double for everything.
