Superb !
Brings back memories of my March hunt with Nick. Even went to the same Station.
He’s a great guide and really good bloke to spend time with
I’m hoping to make it over for a mollocan rusa hunt with him next year
Exactly
Yes I had Charles Lancaster build me a 375 and it’s an absolutely stunning rifle. In my opinion well surpasses the quality of the Rigbys of modern times.
With the volume, they have allegedly taken, orders for I’d be surprised if there was enough talent in the uk gun trade to be able to produce them in the quoted timescales…
Tough question. I’ve hunted a lot of them on that list - I’ll be missing three or four of them by the end of this year.
I lived for foot hunting of tahr and I’d place that as the most iconic - but of course you can hunt them elsewhere in the world.
Most enjoyable was probably last years water...
Would you recommend one over a 404j ? Thinking about another buff rifle when my 470 has been completed and I can’t choose between a 404j and a 425.
Thank you
Just had similar excellent service with them. Their courier company managed to not believe my address was real and sat on a parcel for quite some time. WR were excellent at following up and getting it delivered.
If they took 78 orders at last years show's and i'm assuming a lot at this years (so far) when they had the prototype then I'm guessint that the wait time must be bumping out quite a lot... There just aren't that many working in the UK who can produce a quality double are there? Did anyone who...
I had a superb hunt this year (2023)with Simon Kyle-Little Www.australianbiggamesafaris.com
Superb experience
Font of Knowledge
Took a wonderful old bull.
I’m going for banteng this year with Stephen Bunn of Walkabout Safaris
Frustrated that customs held her up though and that I couldn’t hunt in Aussie with her! They cleared it as I was passing the other way through passport control… missed out on hunting this with her.
March is going to be an axis in Australia
June a Sambar and Rusa in New Zealand
September Banteng in Australia
Really excited for this year!
Looks like everyone has great plans
Around 18 months ago now I was looking to buy a ‘lifetime’ .375. Intention was to get something that I and then my children would enjoy. I’d been looking at Heym and Rigby. Tom at Rigby Australia was really helpful and we’d spoken about options when an old hunting buddy put me in touch with Tod...

I just got them to ship a 1000 470nitro projectiles to a mate in Aussie. He’s bringing them across when he comes hunting here (NZ)
Congratulations what a fantastic trip. I’d been assigned a Swiss tag in the last year the hunt there was open to foreigners but Covid shut downs back in New Zealand stopped me from going. I’ll have to look into Austria
I’ve been sent the photos of the one that was the display one… yes several features that weren’t to my taste.
Yes I’d like to see the finished model too.
Thank you. Yes i thought Heym were looking at a 2027 delivery date if ordered in 2023..
Have you any photos of the new rigby? My understanding was that they had sold all of the initial run of 20...
I've just taken delivery of a beautiful Charles Lancaster and have reached out to them to see...
I just bought 950 of the .474 500gn RNSN. Which apparently were new production. There are a few showing up in some of the Australian shops now…
Hanging out for the 300gn .375 in HD to be produced again
Thank you so much for the response!
Love the look of that case.

Thank you so much for the very detailed response.
Yes I’d love to be able to get some A Frames but unfortunately getting them in New Zealand is proving fruitless. I have stock piled 1000 woodleighs for her though.
Thanks
At 42 years old I’m likely to migrate onto doing the odd animal larger then a buff so thought the 470 would mean that I’d effectively have one double for everything.
