My bad this load is in the 375 H&H

I use CFE223 in Winchester cases and Federal 215 primer for 2800 FPS with the 270 grain TSX

With CFE223 I use the Federal 225 primer in my 35 Whelen

I just loaded a few and got a velocity reading. I'm sure they'll be plenty accurate, I've shot the 220 Hammer and it shot half minute angle in my rifle I'd bet the farm on it.

35 Whelen, Norma cases, Federal 215 primer, 67 grains of Power Pro Varmint, Hammer HHT 215 grain tipped, shot from 1885 Highwall, 28" barrel 3037.5 FPS

190 grain CEB flat point copper bullet. 40 3/4" penetration in 20% ballistics gel

The XTP on the left weight 139.4 grains, the Nosler weighed 179.2 grains

10mm Sig P220 Legion 5" barrel, 180 grain XTP on left, 180 Nosler on right. Shot into 20% Clear Ballistics Gel. Both loaded with 9 grains of Longshot. The XTP averaged 1295.1 FPS for 5 shots. I have not chronographed the Nosler as of yet.

I have the Garmin and can't be happier.

Should be able to use 338 Laupa/ 338 Rum load data since they are all very close in capacity

Mine were backorder also and I had them within 2 weeks

Ordered them from CEB. they are listed on the CEB website

Loaded 4 more with 85 grains AA2230 @ 3.300" COAL

I'd wager that the 400 grain CEB would work wonderfully on elephant

I had one that I couldn't fully seat the primer and that was the slow one

I a 416 Remington and 458 Winchester in MarkX Mauser actions, the 458 Winchester feed the copper 380 grain bullets without fail and it has a larger meplat than the CEB

John Barnesness has stated that with ball powders like CFE223, Power Pro Varmint just to name a couple, that a magnum primer produces more consistent results.

I loaded some 130 grain TTSX for my 30/06 in Winchester cases, Federal 215 primers and 58 grains of CFE223. I shoot them in a day or so, anyone tried this combo?

I've found that deeper seating increases velocity without the need for more powder

2000MR and/or CFE223 are excellent powders for 350 grain TSX or TTSX

Federal 215 primer Remington or Winchester cases as the ones I have hold the same amount of powder and 65 grains of Power Pro Varmint. 64 grains does 2911 FPS
