Unfortunately the Colorado Legislature has gone overboard that past few years. Here is a list of bills be proposed that limit firearm rights and make it harder to just go to the range.
They are great pistols. I shoot my early 1960's 5in M41 almost weekly. It is accurate as can be and I like to shoot it before shooting 1911's at the range. I also have a 7" M41 from the early 60's. My father-in-law gave me both of them. I would have loved to see him shoot them when he was...
Up for consideration are 200 pieces of new 308 win Lapua brass, both boxes factory sealed. I bought these but ended up not needing them. Asking $170 for both plus shipping. Thank you
I know this tread is about 404 Jeffery loads but I'm looking to develop a plinking load for 416 Rigby and 416 Rem Mag. Would using large rifle primer instead of magnums, for plinking would be okay? I have lots of 1544 use up.
Saw Norma has some small pistol primers from Argentina. Does anyone have any experience with these? They seem like a decent price.

Also, does anyone have any experience doing...
Me too, assumed it is a magazine extension. Cabela's staff thought that is what it was too. I'll have to see how I like the look of it and more importantly, if it functions property. I might be hunting down some parts in the future to get it back to factory.
That
Howdy...I should be receiving that 416 Rem Mag this coming week. Thankfully it was still available when I called them early yesterday morning. Now I'm on the hunt for some brass and bullets to test it out.
Reading this post, it seems like Norma brass is the way to go. I just acquired a 416 Rigby and am now hunting for reloading supplies. Looks like Norma still has boxes of 50 for $145. Is that a good price? Or should I hold out? Thanks

I have no affiliation with them, just saw it while browsing the web.
I’m looking for some advice on some powder I received. Purchased some H38 powder online. When it arrived, one of the containers was slightly open. Enough for some powder to spill in the box but most stayed in the container. Seller replaced the powder with a new one and let me keep the open one...

Yes, the barrel is pretty heavy. Definitely heavier than my .338 win mag barrel. Almost like a ruger no1 tropical barrel. If it’s the same long action, idea if the recoil lug is the same? Thanks for the info.
I recently picked up a Remington 700 safari in 375 h&h. It’s basically perfect and I was looking to replace the stock to preserve the factory stock plus get a nice recoil pad. The factory stock recoil pad is pretty hard. My question is will a replacement stock for a Remington 700 long action...
I’m looking for some ideas for mounting some small tusks my father-in-law gave me. Could have some bases build but like to see what other options there are. They are about 2 feet long. Thanks
Can anyone give me more information about these hornady cases. Got them from my father in law. Thought I might be able to use them for 458 win mag but not sure?
Thanks for the info. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with all of them, I found 11 boxes of them. Two are missing 1 bullet each, so I have almost 550 of them. I also have a good number of hornady 500 gn bullets for my 458's, so it will take me a while to work though them all. I might consider...
Searched the threads and internet but didn’t find any information about Kynoch reloading bullets. I found these 450 NE bullets while cleaning out father-in-laws reloading room. Can anyone tell me about them, like when the may have been produced and can they be used for any caliber rifle that...
I know this post is a year old but I have the same question. I found these kynoch cartridges while helping clean out my father in law’s reloading room and have the same question about their age/manufacturer date. I believe they came with the 600 NE double rifle he bought in Kenya in 1962, while...
Thanks Shootist43... definitely finding out there are a number of CO folks here. I’m definitely keeping reloading stuff I think I’ll use as I like to reload; plus books on Africa. I’m definitely keeping an eye on the classifieds.
