Options will there.
I know there is Fish Factory on the spit and Homer Fish Processing in town if you’ve got the down time.
You have Ed’s Kasilof seafood just outside Soldotna. I’m sure there are more, but can’t recall at the moment.
Where you heading to?
Checked luggage is easiest. Fish boxes are available at most stores. Coolers are of course a good way to get fish back. Most places should have a freezer not all will have vacuum sealer. If you’re in a main fishing town there will be processors available.
A good source for firearms in movies is the internet movie firearm database.
It may not be 100% accurate but it helpful.

I keep an 835 with federal premium slugs at the back door.
With recoil being subjective it’d be hard to pinpoint a good round for someone.
Someone mentioned the old Ruger carbine .44. I will say that that would be my first choice for someone recoils sensitive. It’s very manageable with...
Please move if in the incorrect thread. I could not find the Scammer thread, but I may have a candidate. Account seems to be created to send me a message about a left hand CZ rifle. The OP did not know about it either.
Purchased a left hand Ruger Hawkeye from @hsell. Good communication and received the rifle promptly.
Not sure how to link a member. I thought it was just adding an at symbol prior to there name.
I’m with ET1775. Call Nosler let them know. It could still be a firing pin spring or something around there. I’m sure ammo brands use different primers and the Norma might not need as hard of a strike to fire.
I have had zero issues with Nosler ammo. But curious to know the cause of the FTFs.
Either is a good choice. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with the Federals as long as your rifle likes them.
This is my recovered TBBC straight frontal shot at 30m. I can’t remember if it was recovered in the stomach or went through it.
Good luck, stay safe
They’re pretty common on lever and single shot rifles. Marlin’s can handle a pretty hot bear load .45-70 and I’ve never seen them budge. I trust them for the high recoil rifles and thinking of putting one on my .458 Lott. The Savage 110 may be an issue. I don’t think they make one specific to...
That’s a good looking rifle. I second the 1750 case. Mine has had the crap kicked out of it on many flights. It was dropped on Kodiak and still maintained zero. I do also have a Tuffpak 1050. Mine only has a couple of flights, but many folks on here have used them with great success. They have...
RCBS 450/400 3 1/4 die set with shell holder. Asking $125.
I’m in Alaska so shipping may take a few days.
Please let me know if you’re interested or have any questions. Thanks.
I have the Ruger American Ranch in .450 BM. It’s great for deer and become a popular choice in the restricted states along with the 350 Legend. Recoil is not bad IMO. My 46m is still in jail so can’t answer how well it handles with a suppressor. My uncle who’s pushing 80 uses a CVA single shot...
