    Some not so common Handguns

It could have been a 475 Wildey. It has been awhile since I seen the movie. And then there is Swarzenegger in that one cop show where he is playing a Russian cop sent to the US and he rattles of a Russian(?) handgun caliber, saying it is the most powerful handgun in the world. And just like...

I like your idea better....beer opener. I was going to guess 1) "skull cracker"....when in close quarters fist fight or out of bullets. Or 2) for trick shooting....shooting with one's back to the target, using a mirror, over the shoulder shot, using the non shooting hand or thumb to help...

When hunting species like zebra or gemsbuck does the sex of the animal matter to hunters?

I may be past my prime, but I ain't dead....yet!.....so yes I find sex to be more fun than important. Just not as important as in my younger carefree years. Since females are the only ones I hunt. I prefer to hunt at night at local waterholes between 11pm and 2am. Although I have been lucky a...

    Factory .416 Taylor Rifles

For off the shelf availability (if that can be a factor nowadays), I would personally go with the 416 Rigby. Especially if I could use another cartridge with it, like using the 458WM in a 458 Lott, should I not be able to obtain 416 Rigby ammo while on a hunt. The 416 Rigby for nostalgia.

Major construction projects, being built with wood

There's a major difference between select cut and tree farm logging, where only certain trees are logged, with minimum or no removal of untargeted trees and clear cut logging that totally removes all trees with no tree replanting, no debris removal, no erosion prevention (where applicable).
