Hard to believe that anyone thought that was a good idea. I’ve shot dogs that had gone feral and were tearing up livestock. Even in that situation it’s difficult. Shooting your own dog because it ruined a hunt, seriously? She may survive it in her home state, but any larger aspirations are dead.

One thing we absolutely agree on is that this war is a tragic waste of life. Russia’s strategy appears to be to deplete UA munitions by sending untrained troops in as easy targets. The loss of life is unconscionable. We have two different solutions, likely both flawed. My strong preference is to...

Major construction projects, being built with wood

Agreed. I have fought too many fires in oil refineries, but I have never had to go into a burning structure. Always seemed insane to me. Then again, the city FD’s thought we were nuts fighting oil fires and would only operate in a support function for us. I guess it’s what you’re used to.

Major construction projects, being built with wood

The new mega mills have created concentration in dimensional lumber production. This has concentrated buying power and shifted profits from production to processing. However, the zone of influence of these mills may be too large, I.e. they will eat themselves out of limber before resupoly can be...

    No. 1 Rebirth by R J Renner

It is his English stalking rifle conversion. Stock slimmed; forend shortened, slimmed, re-checkered and ebony tip installed. Is the 7mm prc suitable for plains game?

I am using 142 gr Nosler AccuBond LR in my 6.5 PRC. Accuracy and BC are excellent. To date, terminal performance has been very good. Malaria Medication Next Week in Limpopo - Take or Not

This is not correct. Locals build a certain level of acquired immunity, and when they do contract it, it tends not to be as severe. The infectious disease doc that treated me said that the only folks who tried to die on him with malaria were ex residents who went back to Africa for a visit...

Is the 7mm prc suitable for plains game?

Spot on! Stay away from the bullets designed to ‘explode on impact’. You need the ability to shoot through heavy hide and shoulder bone. The Nosler accubonds LR would be a good compromise of BC and terminal performance.
