The career was always a means to an end for me. Ended up working 2+ years longer than the original plan when hired of 30 years, but retired when I was 57, and have been busier in retirement than when I was employed. I had always told my kid the job was just there to support my hobbies. Think...

This is what I've seen as well. My wealthy uncle has run his own businesses all his life and at 89 is still working. Currently land development and cattle. (I'm trying to be that favorite nephew, lol)

These groups look better than a lot of targets I've seen. Are these B2s and their bombs considered MOA? Asking for a friend....Oh, and do they come in a left handed version?

And once again Trump is misquoted. This is NOT what he said, "The US entered the war two days after President Trump said he wanted to allow a two-week window to give diplomacy a chance." He said he would decide by the end of the next 2 weeks. Huge difference. But no surprise the news outlets...

I wouldn't brief Congress until after the initial action. Wouldn't trust a lot of the current members of either branch to hold their tongue.

    My next stock refinishing project

Nope. Just make sure there's no drips hanging or little fine ridges and hang it to dry. 20 minutes a week is a small effort with beautiful end results. I do actually keep a little sticky note close by that I note the date of each coat, otherwise I lose track, lol. (and a day or 2 either side of...

    My next stock refinishing project

The reason you're experiencing an easily scratched, "soft" finish, is due to the oil taking literally months & months to actually begin drying when it is applied in what amounts to a very thick coat and gets sealed in by the top coat. Even allowing just 24 hrs between coats will allow each coat...

    My next stock refinishing project

As a general rule, oil can go over oil, but it absolutely won't go over poly or varnish. The SB blend, with alkanet added, as you have seen, will yield a darker hue with every coat. Once you like the tone of the color, that's when to switch to LinSpeed, as it will add to the rubbed oil finish...

Stock bending, can it be removed?

Almost looks more like the wood moved after shaping rather than having been bent. Or was carved. The bend is in a very unusual location. Even in a crossover like @Red Leg posted, the secondary bend is still very close to the wrist. That bend is also the wrong direction for a right handed...

    My next stock refinishing project

^^^^This!^^^^ Varnish is not any better than poly for a gun stock. It will also yellow over (a short) time unless you use spar varnish with UV inhibitors. Varnish is really best used on indoor furniture, or the teak on a boat. Bob's suggestion of LinSpeed is a good one if you're looking for a...

Member since 2010 with 21 posts? I'd agree with @wyosteve on this being a questionable seller.
