Your opinion on selecting a .500 NE 3” or .470 NE?

I've been wondering, with today's lab grown diamonds, if a 10-15mm long, 2mm diameter single-crystal diamond tube, would not be the summum of combining "fibre optic frontsight light gathering technology" with more classy materials like diamond. I had Grok look into it, and it said the...

Your opinion on selecting a .500 NE 3” or .470 NE?

I've read through multiple comments of "Don't like shoulderless cartridges" ; "I like my cartridge sexy, with a shoulder" and more such variations. I'm quite the opposite, nothing more sexy to me than a simple straight wall carrying a big piece of lead.

    On lever's and pump actions

Dear AH friends, Seeing a recently started thread on pump rifles, and having read many threads on lever rifles, one topic always comes up, when adding big calibers into the mix: "Lever or pump action rifles do no have a strong enough action, for the .375 and up calibers". I've always wondered...

    Rigby’s first 450 No 2 NE

If that is your understanding of "plain Jane", I'm curious what you would envision for a full embellished rifle! :E Rofl: All kidding aside, that is some very impressive engraving. I'm usually not a big Bulino fan, so I'm mostly attracted to the amazing scrollwork, but this elephant engraving...

For my information, the meisterstuck pieces, are the body's made from metal? The Starwalker is made from Resin (basically plastic) so it is very light. For my purposes, taking it on business trips and everyday use, it does very well.

    The pleasure of fine things

Despite that most of my work happens on my laptop, I still enjoy writing a lot, taking notes during meetings. So I picked up the below MontBlanc Starwalker Platinum Rollerball. I’m really enjoying the smooth writing on my Moleskin notebooks, just need to find a good way to carry both attached to...

Without knowing him, or ever having met him and despite the bravado, this is exactly how I would have thought he would conduct himself.

    Politics

It does not mention the country names of this “Caribbean government”… there are so many different nations there, it is hard to believe this unnamed organisation is representing anyone. I’m married to a girl from Martinique, I can guarantee you that many of the Martinique people, black, mixed or...
