I hunted with Bayly-Sippel and they are a great company. I know that they have done land-based hippo hunts in the recent past. It's a good place to start. BTW - other than being a happy client, I have no affiliation with or financial interest in Bayly-Sippel.

This thread is living proof...Mark Sullivan is a great marketer... In all seriousness, I was neutral on Sullivan until I saw the Cal Pappas video. Mark is a genuine person. Even when consoling a client who just missed his dream shot at a buffalo, Mark immediately talks about the experience...

It's becoming a common theme but - quadpods. My other suggestion would be to make time for the birds - bird watching, bird photograph and/or bird hunting. Photograph the Southern Cross.

You completely missed my well-stated point. The point wasn't that I agree with him. I said as much. The point was that he openly and honestly says why he does what he does.

Sullivan literally explains this just about every time he does it. It's always something to the effect to "let the buffalo choose how it's going to die." His style isn't necessarily my cup of tea, but he's as open and honest as anyone.
