Advice sought (.358); I think I know the answer...

The 358 Winchester really doesn't need premium bullets good old fashioned Cup and core will drop most critters in their tracks. I have found round nose bullets to be extremely effective on game.

    Old German rifle

The raised side panels on that rifle makes me wonder if it may have been built before the first world war?

Welcome To The Wonderful World Of BSA

We don’t see very many bsa rifles in my neck of the woods. I have seen a couple and they appears to be well built guns.

Time to go long on CRF rifles?

It is really much simpler than all that. It is easier to make 2 rings concentric than one ring with a key way slot cut in it.

Time to go long on CRF rifles?

What Have You Killed with the 7x57

Shot 3 woodchucks with 139 grain hornadys over the weekend. Definitely don’t have to wonder if you hit them.

    Show off your 100-year-old guns

Just a clarification, model number is not an indicator of age. Serial numbers usually can lead to year of manufacture which will lead to age.
