Hello All, Does anyone have any experience with Meopta rifle scopes? In particular their Optika-6 series of scopes? Good / bad/ in different / warranty about them? Also for our European friends here, has anyone had any dealings with a shooting/hunting store by the name of Zarimex? Any info...

You could also look into a Sauer 404 or perhaps the forth coming new 505. The 404 is a great switch-barrel platform. Not as many caliber choices as the R8 but enough variations for anything that walks the earth.

My usual African combo is a K-gun in 450/400 and a scoped Sauer 404 in 375 with second barrel & scope set-up in 300WM.

Also forgot to ask, would it be possible to add a Fallow deer and boar during the hunt?

What airport would someone have to fly into?

Can this hunt be done in September of this year (2023)?

A single shot Browning 1885 Highwall in 7mm. Besides chasing local deer with it I've taken it to Canada for caribou, Scotland for red deer, roe deer, and fallow, and Africa for plains game. Except when I've went for buffalo and leopard, it's been the only rifle I hunted with for the last 30 years.
