Unfortunately the double standard is so commonplace it’s to be expected.

Kinda on the fence with this one; 1) everyone should already know they don’t have to follow an unlawful order. But 2) they seemed to be telling every soldier, airman, sailor, marine and coast guardsmen from E1 on up they can be their own JAG and declare an order they don’t like as unlawful.

You must remember the Trump haters only hear what they want to hear and take EVERY word he says literally. Personally I’m not a Trump the man fan but many of his policies I like and some I don’t and have learned to somewhat decipher what the hell he’s’ talking about.

Fair enough, I’ve seen their videos showing shots at kudu at 700+ yards. But as I’ve said this wouldn’t stop me from hunting with them. I would just insist on getting closer and if we bust the stalk so be it. I don’t believe it was a podcast or anything like that that they put out but a TV show.

Well stated @375Ruger416, I agree with you, I practice WAY farther than I would ever shoot at an unwounded animal. I have absolutely no qualms with John X, their guys are great on video and I do watch them when I can.

Big difference between “embracing” and “promoting” long range shooting. I totally understand the business side of it, give the customer what they want as long as it’s legal. It’s just not for me.

My brother in law’s taxidermist used to organize a group hunt with them for years and I talked to a lot of his clients that had absolutely wonderful hunts. All things considered 18 months isn’t bad, some on the forum have been waiting years. Other than the Covid year all of my stuff has gotten here in 14-18 months. My next shipment is due around October 2026.

Sorry to hear of your troubles, hopefully some of the taxidermist here can give you an idea of what happened or maybe they have trick they can use to help you out.
