I was for over 10 years on sutch an course. PH-School from Ian Goss (R.i.P.) It was great. (And we did - and not all pass - the of. SA-PH-test. But we cant work there.) It help me a lot on my international adventures (exspecialy on the self-guided). So: If you have time: Do it. :-)

The monks had not only "old hunting pictures". They had an big, unique museum, with old artefacts, trophys, weapons and more... (Here an short impression.)

Lon was not only an hunter, outfitter and PH. He had an good and fair contact to the native people in his space (around the camp, in his hunting area, pp.). Here he teach an class of students (I think they had made an course in acra-education at an university or so..) He do this for free, share...

Lon had so mutch expirience, that he do repaires normaly on his own. Als you see here also "the best tools I have ever seen in Africa" (handmade, 400 US Dollar the set)

Lon has the best weapons I have ever seen by an PH. Here his very rare and expensive Rigby (with the original, big mauser system) and the Georg Gibbs double.

Heym will produce EVERYTHING. Even singleshoots, shootguns and "only barrels" in every caliber and specifikations. Etc. pp. Only: You must bring the time, the stress in contact, the money and so on. And yes. The Jumbo (with classic one, with sidelocks) is still in the regular production.
