I'm thinking about going this route with these 2 plains game animals being mounted together. I'd love to see some examples of this. Please share if you can.
I've heard that animal testicles are sometimes cooked and eaten on safari, like Rocky Mountain Oysters (bull calf balls) here in the states. Which animal testicles have you eaten and which taste the best?
The North American hunter in me is struggling to consider harvesting a zebra mare. Is it because I'm used to all the N.A. species and the "trophy" animals are all males? Even if the mares are larger and have better (less damaged) hides, do most hunters still prefer to harvest stallions?
When hunting species like zebra or gemsbuck does the sex of the animal matter to hunters?
Gemsbuck females have longer horns than the males, but is it custom to only shoot the males?
Female zebras are larger and have the nicer hides, but should the stallions be target?

The more I look at these mounts the more I realize how large a Kudu actually is. I was thinking they were more the size of a whitetail deer than elk. Comments welcome.
How many have full body mounts of your African animals? I'm considering a full mount of a Kudu or Gemsbuck for my upcoming safari. I just find that you miss out on the side stripes of the Kudu and some of the coloring of the Gemsbuck with only doing pedistal/shoulder mounts.
