    Why no 375 RUM?

Personally I love the case of the RUM over the Weatherby. Also, the recoil was not that bad and seemed to really allow your body to roll with the recoil, unlike the abrupt recoil of the 378. Plus, it is withing 50-100 fps of the 378, the only downside is cases, but those can be bought as ammo or...

    Why no 375 RUM?

I would still own mine if it wasn't for the sorry feeding. Pushing a 235 gr tsx to 3300 fps was a load of fun! Might be worth commissioning a CRF one of these days.

    Why no 375 RUM?

Lack of rifles, ammunition, and reloading components (properly headstamped brass) is a good place to start. I used to own one in a Remington, but it was plagued with feeding and extraction issues and decided to pass it along. It's a wonderful cartridge and has plenty to offer and in my opinion...

    Wood stock care

Personally, I utilize Tung oil and get a beautiful finish with it. You have to apply it a few times, but the major thing to keep in mind is that polymerization will take place over time, but if you have a small kiln that can run at 120-140 degrees Fahrenheit. Then one can place the wood with the...

    Model 70 Classic 300 RUM

The 500 MDM requires a 300 RUM action. So, this could be a great basis for that build.

For Sale Stunning 700 AHR Bolt Gun

If I had the money this would be in my collection, but Chiropractic School is hindering that right now. If the seller will take a kidney for payment, I'm sure I can find a spare one .

    45-70 for dangerous game?

I have a 45-90 on the modern Marlin 1895 (same reciever as the 336), it can be done and is nothing short of impressive.

A tick in the usa thats bite can basically turn you vegan...

Sounds like a trip to a good Chiropractor and possibly an Acupuncturist, would help this issue quite a bit, if not solve the issue.

Cast lead bullets and lower power loads for plinking with the 470

Take a look at Bear Creek Supply, cheap lead bullets with a coating on them that prevents leading. They have a bullet for the 470 in the making, but have a 380 gr bullets that would work great as well.

Loading .458 WM with 300 gr interlocks

Personally I use H335 in my 45-90 and get great accuracy and precision from them. You have the luxury of using a system that can handle higher pressures, so this should help with your decision. Let me know how you like them, if you end up trying them out.

Speer Hot-Cor 350 gr, is a great bullet for your intended purpose if you can get your hands on them.

    Marlin 336 jammed

@Bob Nelson 35Whelen I saw it taken apart one time by a first timer and after he kept losing all the little parts, I decided to stick to the Marlin, by far my favorite lever-action rifle.

Just don't forget your German engineer friend and lady luck if want to take a winchester or No1 apart.

    Marlin 336 jammed

Glad I could be of assistance. The pivot pin is all that needs to be removed for the the lever to be taken out.
