I also think that the 9.3x64 is superior in some respects to the 375 HH in terms of performance.
It uses a smaller case and no belt.
The 9.3 bullets have better CB and DS for the same weight.
A caliber that is 98 years old, I hope that Brenneke will do something for the centenary of this...
I'm in France, where it's easy to get some (RWS in boxes of 50).
I don't know the terms and conditions for shipping brass to other countries.
If it's not too complicated, I could get some for you.
Indeed, the 9.3x64 requires very slight modifications, but less than a 375 HH in a standard M98 case.
With the 9.3x64, you're guaranteed nothing superfluous.
It's a caliber that deserves serious attention.
8 mm
The 8x57js, the excellent 8x64s, and the high-performance 8x68s.
9 mm
The 358 Norma Mag must be very good.
The wonderful 9.3x64 Brenneke (my favorite)
375 hh
The 9.3x65r is a cartridge invented by Mr. Brenneke in 1927. It is the twin sister of the 9.3x64, but rimmed for break-action rifles (express, drilling, and derivative).
It is far superior to the excellent 9.3x74r, as is a 9.3x64 to a 9.3x62.
Brenneke liked to make it like this:
7x64-7x65r...
Of course, my favorite caliber is the 9.3x64 Brenneke, which is the epitome of the all-purpose caliber.
Unfortunately, it's poorly distributed and poorly known, but it can fire from 154g to 325g.
The Austrian brand Voere still makes it in two rifles (Voere 2155 and Voere LBW Hunter on request)...
9.3x64 with 250 gr bullets up to 293 gr maximum.
A Brenneke TOG 247 gr or a Degol 262 gr (perfect) or a good old TUG would do the job very well up to 300 meters.
I quite agree on the 9.3x64 mm Brenneke.
it can shoot bullets from 154 gr up to 325 gr.
from 2400 fps up to 3050 fps.
I have shot it up to 450 yards and it works very well.
it is a very complete caliber which is unfairly ignored.
In my opinion, it is one of the most versatile calibers in the...
We had forgotten a German caliber which I think must be excellent.
I want to talk about the 500/416 nitro express.
It's true that it's a very British caliber, but it was Kriegoff who invented it in 1996.
