Elephant painting

I painted this piece as a result of a lifelong love affair with Africa. When I was a young boy I saw, at a local theater, a documentary called "Tembo", a rogue elephant that killed several African natives. An American archer, Howard Hill, was commissioned to hunt and destroy the elephant. He killed Tembo with a long bow and a single arrow. Since then, I have been intrigued with Africa and hope to some day experience it.
