Saw it from my backyard in DFW. Odd thing was the crickets started chirping in the dark and then quit when it came back…birds acted funny too. I wonder what they were thinking?
Sitting out front watching the eclipse and observing the livestock during the event was, well, uneventful. My 2004 model mustang was just looking for handouts like she always does when you’re outside. Nothing strange or unusual to report.
At work in Grand Prairie, spent about an hour outside watching the progression. One of the coolest things I’ve seen. Dark enough for all the outdoor lights to come on.
I realize how hard the bug has bit. I’m on the cusp of safari #2 and I’m looking to plan #3 with my 11 year old a year from now while looking at my work schedule for overtime and computing the math of how many shifts are needed….
I'm about ready to pull the trigger on another rifle but would love to see your rifle first, any way you could forward a pic or two?
Thanks,
