An ominous new report from the Wall Street Journal might have travelers reconsidering their holiday plans — particularly if they’re flying with United Airlines.

The report, which dropped on Thanksgiving Eve, highlighted two of the most prevalent problems of an increasingly digital age: Privacy and data.

The Journal reported that United is considering “using passenger data to sell targeted ads.”.....

I have a problem with all of this data gathering. Gas stations, fast food, department stores, banks, insurance companies, etc. all want your information. (Download our App!) They give a small discount or a free item just to gather information on you, where you go, what time you go, what you buy, how you drive. Now airlines, especially after we have had to enter extra information for "security', and "medical tracking in case of infection" Personal liberty may take eons to recover. --Just like pictures once your data is out on the internet it stays there forever. Just my .02
