In February of 2023 I made my plans for my 1st ever trip to Africa. In March of 2023 I found this site. I leave for that 1st ever African trip in exactly 50 hours from now. The past 16 months I have spent on this site have been invaluable. Which animals do I hunt, who does the taxidermy, what...

So I put a thread on here that I was looking for a Remington 541 in Curly Maple. A forum member (1 month on the site) messaged me and says he has one. He sends me photos and a price. I like it but I tell him I need a picture of him holding the rifle and a sheet of paper with todays date. He...

Over a year in the making... Almost there

It was in February of 2023 when my wife was the high bidder on a 10 Day African Safari hunt and she informed me that I would be hunting South Africa! Being an avid deer hunter in the hard woods covered east coast of the United States, I knew NOTHING about hunting South Africa. I quickly found...

I don't have the space to full mount anything near the size of a Kudu. But I am looking forward to getting a full mount done on my Honey Badger if I get one in June.

Who taught you how to hunt, and when?

I grew up in Maryland in a non-hunting family. My Dad never hunted. Not that he was against it or an "anti", it was just never a consideration. Time for Dip and Pack

I have. It is my experience that taxidermists, generally, exaggerate the shortness of the time it will take to get your trophys back. My "you will have it in 10 months" bear, took over 2 years. I like to get real world information.

    Africa prices?

You don't HAVE to pay the broker fee. It depends on where your trophies come in as to how necessary it is. Baltimore is very easy and can be cleared in person, filling out the forms, with no broker needed.
