Beautiful rifle! I ordered a park west in 375 H & H myself this winters at DSC. Very excited to get out with it this fall for elk and mule deer and take it to Africa next year for a pgh. Cheers and enjoy!
This is true. Unless it’s custom, factory productions are far and few between. Gotta get them when Winchester pushes out available waves of their model 70 actions in certain calibers. I’d get my hands in them before they’re out of production lineup too. IMO
Thank you for sharing! [emoji1303][emoji2] What an adventure. I’ve been reading John Taylor’s book and he’s adamant that there is a HUGE difference from to .40-.44 calibers into a real big bore .450 upto .600. Taylor says any serious dangerous game should have a. .450 up (especially for elephant...
Respectfully, the MRC might be trying to close the chapter on that rifle; maybe even glue the book closed forever. Good luck hearing back from them…
Looks like a shooter for sure; curious why the verticled muzzle break on the end? Interesting concept and approach…..
Awesome caliber selection...
Thank you for the heads-up!!!!! Very much appreciated!!! Thank you again!!!

I forgot to add that I chronographed mine at 2880 as well. Too fast to expand at the distance I was shooting at for terminal performance. I believe that even though the velocity was there that the build of the bullet didn't allow for proper expansion. There could be other factors that are part...
I used them this year at 205 yards to take my mule deer. I specifically used 200 grain eldx bullets loaded by Hornady factory. Although I have used eldx bullets in the past in my 270 Winchester with success on deer. I was turned off by their performance. I believe they are super accurate; highly...
Thx for the reply[emoji2]
I’m looking for a model 70 in 375 h&h. Safari or Alaskan either would be awesome. If you come by another please let me know. I’m looking to purchase. Have a blessed day! [emoji2][emoji1303]
Ok, I admit it. I see a visual of better walnut In their stocks and astetic pleasing features but what’s really the “function” of these rifles vs a model 70? Is it the “hand finishing” and craftsmanship? I can get fancy Turkish walnut anywhere; what am I purchasing for the extra $9000-$13000...
I held one the other day in 7mm rem mag and it was a “heavy” rifle. It felt solid as a build but I would really consider the ejection issues as Google searches show. I’m sure the service is excellent but that’s not gonna help you on your hunt. Again, they run solid and are build strong but there...
A batch just came out about 5 weeks ago. They hit the market and were gone in a flash. I bought one out of Oklahoma from an outfitter but I saw them here in Texas at my loca shop a week later for sale; they all sold fast. I just went online to be notified when they would be available and wait...
Actually bought one this evening off of gunbroker; thank you to all that contributed in helping me find this rifle. I am in the process of looking for reloading dies. They seem to be pretty inexpensive on midsouthshootingsupply but I am always willing to use whatever anyone would like to sell...
I will be there for sure! :-) i went last year and had a blast; woudl'nt miss it for the world. I would love to meet up with some like-minded individuals this year! :)
Hello everyone,
I wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Tony from Dallas, TX. I have been big game hunting out west for a few years now and an avid whitetail hunter. I have always interested in planning a hunting trip to Africa one day to hunt Cape buffalo; among other various...
