I've decided to sell my Mauser M98 that I bought from AH member Steve Stoppleman a couple of years ago. I need to replenish the safari fund and since I have a Rigby .275/7x57 I think I can part with the Mauser. It was made in 2020 and looked new when I got it from Steve and still looks new. As...
Would it be considered blasphemous to mount a scope on a vintage Rigby that has been re-bored, re-chambered and generally restored by the previous owner? The caliber is .375, was originally .350.
Has anyone traveled with a vintage Rigby bolt action with it's 2 serial numbers lately? I'm thinking about taking mine to South Africa in June and was wondering if TSA or Customs or airports, in general, would flip out over the 2 serial numbers.
Here's a young doe I managed to take with one of my .45 Colt Redhawks. She was facing me with her head down feeding at 43 yards. I lined up on her neck and hit her in the head.
Ran across this Randall 4-6 the other day and couldn't resist.
I'd never heard of this model before then I'd read that it was a non cataloged model that was reintroduced in 2011.
I love the curves.....
I have decided to sell my Watson Bros. Martini. It's all original with the original makers case. The rifle is in great shape with some expected finish wear on the metal parts, but functions perfectly. The wood is really nice with a fancy horn forend tip and horn butt plate. It looks much better...
We landed in Johannesburg on Saturday 10/2/21 and were greeted by 2 ladies (I wish I could remember their names, but things were happening fast) from Gracy Travel and guided us through all the lines and gates we needed to get through. After that we were met by Bruce from Gracy Travel and taken...
Made in 1914 all numbers match except the the floorplate lever. Was drilled and tapped for a receiver sight at one time. Some surface blemishes on the right side of the barrel at the front sight ramp. Does have a few worm holes in the horn buttplate. Otherwise excellent condition. 1950.00 shipped.
This CZ .375 has the AHR number upgrade and the stock has been re-shaped and re-finished by RJ Renner in his Rigby pattern. Renner also added a sling stud to the barrel, a steel grip cap and fire blued the cross bolts. The rifle shoots, functions and handles beautifully. I also added a NECG...
As new with box. Aquired new in a trade with Fort Mill, SC Cabelas in 2017 or 2018. Fired less than 40 rounds. Rather plain wood. 24" barrel. 1300.00 shipped with Leopold 2x7 scope. 1100.00 without scope.
