I was in that same area this past summer and I can say there were a lot of elephants and they were really amped up. They are being crowded and pushed by human encroachment. We experienced several charges by elephants over 100 yds away.

I hunted Tanzania in 2018 with Harprret Brar, in Maasailand - Lolkisale and Lobo. He's still there and I believe he's had those camps for some time. That was where I met Pano.

If you have a history of detached retinas, you need to be extremely cautious of heavy recoil. Saving recoil for a hunt isn't the same as putting money in the bank - it only takes one to do damage.
