I spent the first 18 years of my employed life in South Florida mainly working in the commercial & sport fishing industry. I finally got a real job in the fire service as a firefighter/paramedic and I am enjoying my 18th year with the Fire Department. I still guide a bit for old clients and friends, and I free lance in a few fishing tournaments, but my fishing is mostly for fun these days.

My passion for hunting has gradually superseded that of my fishing, and my wife who, is also my hunting partner, shares my hunting and outdoor passion. I made my fist trip to Africa back in 2006, and took my wife for the first time in 2009. We have been very fortunate over the years to have hunted and fished many places on this earth including several trips to Africa and counting....

I met Hannes Els and the Els family in 2011 on my 3rd African Safari. Needless to say, I was immediately impressed with how Hannes conducted himself and his safari operation. We had never encountered a more sincere, honest, or affable gentleman in the outfitting business. Nor, had we ever experienced a staff so willing to go above and beyond at every opportunity to exceed our expectations. Our client/outfitter relationship has since progressed into a great friendship with the entire Els family as well as many of the PHs, and staff at Limcroma. Hannes asked me to act as reference many years ago which I proudly accepted, and that role has evolved into my representation of Limcroma as not only a consultant but, as a long-time client, and dear friend.
