    Politics

this is a primary concern of mine. WHO is currently running the government? certainly not joe biden. he was elected, but has likely had little input in the last couple years. it would seem to me that a vote for biden is a vote for.....who exactly?

You Tube Hunting Couple Brown Bear Gone Wrong

you are exactly right. here is the problem, shooting at a 500+yard bear, it is going to run after the first shot, who knows ANYONE that can hit a running bear at 500+ yards? NOBODY!! i too guide brown bears, the 200 yard rule is a good one. i know a guy that lost a bear (a legit 10' bear)...

Got my first elk hunt this year - Help me pick a cartridge

don't use the lapua; a 3006 with 180+ gr bullet is a better choice. the 375 ruger with 250 gr GMX bullets are a good choice as well, i have shot moose and caribou with that bullet and it worked great.

    AA5744, H4227 - low recoil 375 H&H

try trail boss for low pressure loads. the manufacture makes recommendations on its use but it fills a lot of the case and makes for slow bullet speeds. re: weighing the rifle, mercury recoil reducers are available, i just put a round bar of lead (1 lb) in the butt of my 458 win to get the...

    AA5744, H4227 - low recoil 375 H&H

Understanding The Phenomenon Of Jacket-Core Separation

i did not lose the animal the bullet just came apart. hey, if someone wants to shoot cape buffalo with a crappy bullet, or a moose, eland, etc. thats on them. only costs you the trophy fee, oh yeah, and a sick or wounded animal. sorry so late on the reply, been hunting in Namibia.

Understanding The Phenomenon Of Jacket-Core Separation

in this case, i did not lose the animal and was able to see what happened to the bullet. the fragmented bullet on such a small animal told me (assuming the bullet would repeat its performance) that on a moose, the bullet would have fragmented too much to penetrate a moose properly (or caribou...

Understanding The Phenomenon Of Jacket-Core Separation

I generally agree with this thought. I don't agree with this thought. when a bullet sheds its jacket, there are a couple things happening, one the bullet is getting lighter (and depending on how many pieces of it, a lot lighter) two, the pieces are likely to divert from their original...
